Tips for Successful advertisements

Look at other advertisements for similar products to the one you are selling, see what titles are being used to describe the products and what search terms find these adverts. It is very important that you choose the wording of your title description to incorporate the search words people looking for your item will use. Consider having a 'Featured Plus' listing - this places your advert at the top of the search page - eBay make a small extra charge for this - refer to your eBay site for details . We also recommend that you have the standard gallery thumbnail picture alongside your listing.

When writing the description of the product you are selling, try to paint a picture in words so that the buyer can clearly understand what is being offered, and what the features and advantages are. Highlight all the good points, taking care also that what you say about the item is fair, be candid about any blemishes or shortcomings, as omitting to do so could cause problems with your sale.

What you need to do

Email us with your sales text and your pictures in electronic format, ideally at least 800 x 600 pixels in size. These should be emailed to us at support@adactivate.com. We will send you an email confirming receipt of your instructions, telling you when you can expect to receive your advertisement for approval, confirming the cost and with PayPal payment instructions. If you then wish us to go ahead simply make the PayPal transfer and your enhanced advert will soon be on its way to you.
